前書きーIntroduction
ここではTOブックス一押しの本屋さんを紹介します。
定期的に更新していくことで、皆さんにもっと書店を知って、身近に感じていただければいいなと思います。 ここでは主に書籍ではなく、書店そのものの魅力をお伝えしていきます。
英語と日本語で書きます、大体、同じ事を書いてます。
In this section, we will introduce some of the recommended TO bookstores. We
will try to update this section regularly, so please enjoy looking up the
information on book shops near you. We will be focusing not on the books
themselves, but on the shops that sell them. The blog will be written in
both Japanese and English, with messages that are more or less the same.
ブックファースト- Book 1st
1996年、兵庫・川西店を1号店としてオープンして以来、「駅の書店」という枠を超えてとどまることなく成長し続けています。
各店舗では照明などにもこだわり、くつろげる快適なリラックス空間が洗練されたデザインで表現されていて、雰囲気も大切にしていることが伝わります。
Since it's first shop opened in 1994 in Nishikawa (in the Hyogo Prefecture
near Osaka), Book 1st has surpassed its original image of being a "Station
Bookstore" and has continued to grow and expand. Each shop is well lit with
indirect lighting, and each set great importance on presenting a homelike
atmosphere and relaxed spacing to greater allow customer comfort.

ブックファースト新宿 - Book 1st Shinjuku
言葉でお伝えするよりも、とにかく行ってみていただきたいのが新宿店です。
新宿駅から約3分の距離で、モード学園コクーンタワーというお洒落なビルの地下にあり、新宿西口最大1,000坪、90万冊の品揃えです。
フロアーはそれぞれ独立した専門書のコーナーがわかりやすく設けられています。
写真を見てみてください。
(これは開店前に撮影したものなので、少し暗く感じられるかも知れませんが、実際はもっと明るいです)
As pictures speak louder than words, let's take a peek at the "Book 1st"
branch located in Shinjuku. The shop is located a short 3 minute walk from
the west exit of Shinjuku Station, on 2 lower floors of the fashionable
Cocoon Tower, With an area of 3300 square meters and more than more than
900,000 books. Each floor is dedicated to its own independently specialized
subjects and sections.
But let's take a look at the photos. (All the following pictures were
taken prior to shop opening with minimal lighting, so some of the following
pictures will be a bit dark.)

Let's begin the Tour
駅からコクーンタワーは簡単に見つけることができます、山の手線に乗ると一番早く見つけられます。駅からコクーンタワーまで歩くより
京王百貨店から出たほうがわかりやすいと思います。地下道もありますが外からのほうがわかりやすいです。
It is really easy to spot the Cocoon Tower from the station, especially if
you take the JR Yamanote line. The hard part is finding the right exit. The
fastest and least confusing way is to exit from the Keio
an underground corridor leading to the tower, but let's avoid it for now.
入口はエレベーターで地下に降りてすぐ
The entry is at the foot of the tower.

Foreign language books and magazines are located next to the Kids Books
corner.
